Scentsy Story
I love Scentsy products and that is why I decided to become an Independent Consultant in the begining. Since starting my little business though it has become much more than lovingthe products. I enjoy meeting new people who are excited about the products, showing all of the new and upcoming trips, goals and other wonderful things Scentsy has to offer my recruits, Seeing the happiness of other consultants both in my team and other teams is a wonderful thing especially when so many people are not as happy as they want or could be. I have two beautiful daughters, one 15yrs old and the other just turned one in July this year. It is a big gap but I am very thankful to my eldest as she helps so much with the baby when I need to go to a get together, enter orders or sort out a delivery. It is because of my wonderful teenager, Courtney, that I joined Scentsy and I am so pleased that she brought this into my life. One afternoon after school Courtney came home with some mini testers and a catalog form her teacher at school and she was so excited to sit with me and smell all of the scents and show me the warmer she really wanted. I was hesitant at first as I had just bought a heap of soy melts for my tealight burners and I was not happy with them and I thought to myself 'here I go again buying something that will become an expensive waste of time as the smells won't last and I will get sick of lighting the candles all the time ...' BUT I was wrong. We have had a lot of stuff happening with us over the last couple of years and Courtney had missed out on a lot of things because I was caring for my sister who has MS and my dad who had cancer and I was also pregnant (and then had a new born to look after) so my time was limited and Courtney gave up outings and other things during this time so I said "to say thank you I will get you this but I won't be getting waxes every week becuase it hasn't lasted". Well that blew up in my face, because two days later I had my sponsor on my couch at home telling me how to join up! The melts smelt so lovely and Courtney had left her warmer on for 24hrs in her room and when I asked how much wax she had used and I found she had used one cube and it still smelt like it had just been put in the warmer I wanted to know more. I looked it up on the PWS Courtney's teacher gave her and I was hooked. I signed up in November 2013 and have not regretted it for one moment. I have a wonderful partner who encourages me to do my best with Scentsy and I have even converted him with some products. He is a bit iffy about the sweet scents I warm from time to time but he gets over it. It is not unusual for him to ask me for a sample to take with him when he is heading of to work or out sometimes. When I told him I could earn a free trip overseas he was happy for me but when I said I can earn it for both of us he was excited and said "Ok what do we need to do for that?". We can't wait to go to Bali next year! The workstation we use is so simple to get around and the monthly payments are all done for you and sent religiously to our own secure pay portal. I have never found a company like this and the CEO's Heidi and Orville are such wonderful people. They love their company, and all who are a part of it, like a family and I am happy to be in that family. That is my story...I hope to be able to read yours on your own PWS someday.
